2013 Fundraising Event (Almost) April Pools Day! Saturday, March 30, 2013 9:30am – 4:00pm Essex Recreation Complex (519-776-8992) Swimming is a life skill! The Lifesaving Society and your local pool staff are encouraging everyone to come out to prepare for seasonal water-related activities. Whether you have a backyard pool, are organizing a trip to the cottage, going boating or are just planning on being wet all summer, bring your family out for this great opportunity to learn and have fun! 9:30am-1:30pm: Water Smart® Stations! Visit each for a chance to win a great prize! (Parents - stop at the backyard pool station!) Coin Drive! All donations big and small greatly appreciated! Bake Sale! Donate some baked goodies and/or stop by to take a few home! 11:30am-1:30pm: Lunch – Chili, hotdogs, chips and drinks! All proceeds to be donated. 2:00pm-3:30pm: Free Lessons! Register for your spot! 2pm/2:30pm/3pm/3:30pm (Max of 20 participants for each 30-minute block) 2:30pm-4:00pm: Family Swim!

Weekly Newsletter Clubhouse Day Camp - Field Trip This March Break the children were taken to Colasanti’s Tropical Gardens and the new Essex Fire Hall. At Colasanti’s, the campers spent the morning putting on the mini golf course. After lunch they got to spend some quality time with the animals, and even saw an animal show! The afternoon brought them to the new Fire Hall in Essex where they met Sparky, and got to play on all the fire trucks. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the children had a very nice walk back to the pool. time on the slide or rope, and even participate in a Swim to Survive teaching session on Tuesday. Lastly, they participated in many active games throughout the week, like dragon races and Giants and Elves Tag. Thanks for making March Break day camp a success. We hope to see everyone this summer! Giant, Wizards, and Elves, OH MY! Children enjoyed a fantasy-themed week filled with swimming, sports, cooking, crafts and team building challenges. The junior and

Monday February 18 is Family Day and we are offering many activities for your family to enjoy.
