Since their inception in 2004, EGR’s
Tonneau Cover range - in hard,
aluminium, and soft - has enjoyed
outstanding success.
Now, after listening
to customers, EGR has moved into the
development and manufacture of Canopies.
Canopies have, in some respects, been
forgotten by many suppliers, and customers
have been left with a product that has not
advanced significantly in years.
To EGR
however, canopies are another functional
product in the automotive marketplace
– and in many ways, are a ‘big brother’
category to
the existing
Tonneau
range.
“Now that our Tonneau Cover range
has been extensively completed and is
successfully in the marketplace, we have
been deliberating on the right time to
move into the manufacture of Canopies;
and now that the global financial crisis has
ended in Australia, we believe the time is
now right,” according to James King, EGR’s
General Manager of Product Development
(Thermoformed Products).
