For those of the new gen this article on virtual gaming is probably trivial, but for us, who were
quite some time back, the concept of virtual reality games is like science fiction coming true.
Virtual reality gaming allows you a more immersive means to interact with a virtual and/or
simulated environment.
The interaction is basically done through simple tools like the keyboard,
joystick, game pad or the mouse, and also by rather complex sensor equipped devices.
Like I saw
one of the NYC rentals simulation golf machines and it had a golf-club fitted with a sensor
which calculated the angle of sweep, force of the swing etc.
Truly amazing stuff!
Virtual reality can very effectively make you feel that you are in the real world.
You can sit at
home and be in a battlefield experiencing the same sounds and chaos.
The same simulated reality
may also contain elements of the real world which will never experience outside its realm.
