Cost-Effective Toll Free Numbers for Small Business A toll free number is quite often euphemistically described as a ‘phone number with reverse charges’. It is called so, because it is the called party that pays for the call charges and not the caller. Traditionally, the toll-free numbers have the 800 area code as prefix and hence the users commonly refer to toll free numbers as 800 numbers. Due to the overwhelming popularity of toll free numbers - particularly amongst the business community - all 800 numbers stand almost exhausted. To allow for more toll free numbers, the area codes 888, 877, and 866 are now in use and to be followed by 855 soon. Although it may seemingly appear that the phone bills of business enterprises will shoot up if they choose to pay for all incoming calls, the fact is having toll-free numbers is cost-effective in view if the numerous other benefits it offers. There have been tremendous technological advancements in the field of telecommunications in recent times and virtual phone systems are the latest communication tools rampantly used by most business houses. Virtual phone systems provide numerous advantages for all types of business enterprises and help improve overall productivity. As the name indicates, a virtual phone system is not located in the business premises of the user. The hardware and software of these business phone systems are with the service provider. The user is expected to only manage a web interface, from his/her office. When an incoming call arrives, it is received by the service provider. The service provider then routes the call in the manner the user has configured its business phone system. In other words, the business owner need not have an employee to answer

With an Internet fax service, faxes can be sent and received through your email account – which means you can access all fax messages from anywhere as long as there is an Internet connection and on any device, including your smart phone. Dealing with a traditional fax machine was no doubt time consuming and frustrating. With a traditional fax machine, you had to constantly worry about paper jams and the slow speed at which your fax w
